pilates MAT

We approach our Pilates Mat classes with anatomical knowledge and an emphasis on proper alignment. Pilates improves coordination and balance and promotes physical awareness and energy distribution across the body. Our classes work with incremental progress to build endurance and challenge oneself effectively. Everyone is welcomed.

pilates & foam rolling

This class integrates fascia release with Pilates Mat exercises. Helpful as a cross training class or a way to re-set the body.

pilates & kettlebells

Designed to bridge the gap between the Pilates technique and cardiovascular training. Using the two functional techniques of Pilates & Kettlebells, our goal is to challenge the body efficiently while creating an aerobic link to Pilates mat work. Students should have an Intermediate Pilates practice, but do not need to have previous training with kettlebells. Pre-registration is required for Pilates & Kettlebells.

self care

A class specifically designed to calm the body. Fascia release, breathing techniques, supported postures and gentle movement make this class perfect for beginners to advanced movers, who need to rest.

ballet barre

This class takes the traditional exercises of a ballet barre and applies them as functional fitness for adults. Correct ballet technique will be taught with an emphasis on length and form of the body. Socks are useful, ballet shoes allowed but not required, beginner to advanced levels are ALL WELCOME.
